Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Tectli (“Tectli,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the Tectli customer-relationship-management software and related websites and services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who this applies to
2. Information we collect
- Account information — name, email, phone, company details, and login credentials.
- Customer Data you provide — the customers, leads, jobs, estimates, invoices, documents, photos, and notes you create or import into Tectli.
- Financial and accounting data — when you connect an accounting service such as QuickBooks Online, we access the data needed to provide the features you enable (for example customers, estimates, invoices, bills, purchase orders, payments, and company information).
- Payment information — subscription billing is handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
- Usage and device data — log data, IP address, browser type, and how you interact with the Service, used to operate and improve it.
3. Connected services and integrations
The Service can connect to third-party platforms at your direction, including Intuit QuickBooks Online, Google (Calendar and related services), email/SMS providers, and a payment processor. When you connect an integration, you authorize Tectli to access and exchange data with that platform solely to provide the features you turn on. We use information obtained through these integrations only to operate the Service for you and in accordance with each provider’s applicable terms.
QuickBooks / Intuit. Data accessed through the QuickBooks Online API is used only to provide the accounting and job-costing features you enable. Tectli does not sell or rent QuickBooks data, does not use it for advertising, and writes to your QuickBooks company only the records you explicitly review and approve. You can disconnect QuickBooks at any time from Settings, which revokes our ongoing access.
4. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
- Sync and display your data across the features and integrations you enable.
- Process subscription billing and communicate with you about your account.
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
- Comply with legal obligations.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- With service providers and integrations that help us operate the Service (such as hosting, accounting, calendar, messaging, and payment providers), under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
- At your direction, with platforms you connect (such as QuickBooks).
- When required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Tectli, our users, or others.
- In connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), subject to this Policy.
6. Data retention
7. Security
8. Your choices and rights
- Access, update, or correct your account information within the Service.
- Disconnect any integration (including QuickBooks) at any time from Settings.
- Request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us.
